Yup. You hit the nail on the head. I was a teacher for 30 years and I got lectured all the time about how easy my job was and how grateful I should be for my summers off. At least I was in Canada and got paid a proper salary. I feel so bad for American teachers who are paid so badly and still have to put up with abuse. The level of vitriol against teachers in America right now is off the charts. It says so much about the attackers and absolutely nothing about teachers and teachers’ unions.
