You summed it up so well. Those of us who were born near the middle of the 20th century have nothing to complain about and everything to be thankful for. Our generation was a blip. An unquantifiable social and political convergence of so many factors that led to our relative prosperity.

It is no cause for arrogance or complacency. It is a cause for redesigning society so that these cycles of poverty and prosperity, fueled by war, violence, and greed are stopped permanently.

Keep on demanding what you need. It is only fair and just.
