Yes, there is a danger of excusing bad behaviour as natural and inevitable. This is a common objection to studies in the areas of race and gender that try to incorporate a genetic component.
What I hope to show in my articles is that genetic tendencies do not make behaviour inevitable, they just make it more likely and more difficult, but not necessarily impossible, to suppress.
I am not interested in making excuses for anyone.
And, as a species, we have no choice at this point in our history but to suppress our aggressive and voracious instincts; we will either make the effort to change human nature, or we will destroy nature as a whole.
