What a dinosaur system this school district has! In the district I taught in for almost 30 years, (Canadian), there was a protocol that guaranteed a certain percentage of women in administration positions. This did not make for a perfect system ( some of the women were terrible), but at least it didn’t blatantly favor men. I don’t know how they can get away with this decision in the 21st century.
