Very helpful information. I recently moved from Southern Ontario to Mid-Michigan. I am struck by the climate differences between two places that are only a 5-hour drive from each other. I am also in my 60s and I can remember much colder winters in the last century. I love being able to harvest my own salad greens in April, but it is worrying that in my lifetime that might change to March or even February. You articulate some sobering realities in this article.
