Truth. We are the most aggressive species on earth. And when life is precarious, we become vicious. When life is too easy, we become delusional and begin living in fantasy worlds of our own creation.
Even worse, our Western education system teaches us that there is no such thing as an innate human nature. There is, and it comes out in nasty ways when we are stressed.
