So many conservatives of every stripe seem to think that early marriage and parenthood are the answer to everything wrong in society. The reality is, as you rightly point out, much more complicated than conservatives or this pastor can wrap their minds around. I guess living in a simple dreamworld is comforting to people don’t want to deal with the messiness of reality.
