Remember that Karla Homolka is evil. She made a plea deal that was iron clad before the videos of their horrific crimes were found. She would for sure have gotten life if she hadn’t made that “deal with the devil” as it was called at the time. She was not given a slap on the wrist because she is female. It was a legal mishap. EVERYONE wanted her to rot in jail with her husband. She may have escaped a long jail sentence, but she is hounded wherever she goes in Canada and has had to change her name several times.
