It’s a very old story and nothing seems to change. People refuse to learn history and then repeat it. It is a story as old as humanity. Everything is always the fault of the “other.” People have an inability to look inside for the source of any problem. And yet God gave us this ability, the ability to self reflect and admit wrongdoing. It’s what repentance is all about and the concept is prominent in both Judaism and Christianity. Few of us know how to look in the mirror.
