I hope you have N-95 masks. They saved my butt on a recent trip to California.

I know you are travelling first class, which, as it turns out, is not only much more comfortable, but safer. Here is what my husband and I did on our flight to Los Angeles: we wore our masks the entire time people were unmasked and eating. When everyone put their masks back on, we turned on the fan and ate our meals. We kept our masks on every second that we weren't eating or drinking.

We did not catch Covid, but one of our friends who went to the same family event as we did, caught Omicron. She travelled coach and did not wear an N-95 mask.

You do not want to deal with this virus while you are recovering from surgery, so stay safe!
