I have witnessed this happening for years, but I have never heard it summarized so well. It is tragic, stupid, and ridiculous all at once.

As a retired teacher, I am doubly sad that the art of teaching has come so far since I was a student, only for teaching itself to be devalued and disregarded as a vocation. All in the name of profit.

What will corporations do when there is no one and nothing left to exploit?
