I have met and known many trans people, including people in my family. Yes, gender is a spectrum. And we don’t know enough about the brain and its relationship to gender- it needs to be studied much more. I am not against the recognition of trans people and granting them full protection from discrimination.
My problem is with the polarized arguments I see in the media. Both sides refuse to make any concessions to the other. Doing so will not solve the problem, but it might cool the flames a little. It’s just a start.
