I disagree. I was a teacher for 30 years. I always helped my students with their writing. If they were willing to put in the time with me, their writing would gradually improve until they could write essays on their own. Some of them thanked me later when they found they could write well in university. Writing needs to be taught just like music or athletics. Talent doesn’t develop on its own. It also doesn’t develop through cheating.
