I agree. I wish I had been pickier in the past. I'm now with someone who brings me joy every day. It was worth waiting until age 50 to find him.

I still feel there is such a thing as too picky. I was friends with someone about 15 years ago who was looking for a beautiful blue-eyed blonde woman. Yes, he had major self-esteem issues. But he rejected everyone immediately if they didn't fit his looks profile. No time to get to know someone and let attraction develop a little. As far as I know he is still alone at age 65.
