I had what might be called a mystical experience when I was 7. It was not a positive encounter like the ones you describe here. I was visited by a little being who absolutely terrified me. Before that I was hearing voices and have strange dreams. It all stopped after a few weeks, but it has affected my life and belief system profoundly. There are truly a lot of bizarre experiences out there that suggest that conventional wisdom and science do not yet have the full story.
