Exactly.

Costs for individual medical procedures and individual drugs are much higher in the U.S. than in Canada. Why? One word: profits. All government-funded healthcare in Canada is nonprofit.

Profits eat away at something that is inherently expensive and should be part of the public good.

People need to see these discrepancies in black and white and then loudly complain until the companies can't get away with price inflation any longer.
