Absolutely; there is no “ism” that’s immune from evil and malevolence. But there is positive evil in some people. Others just go along with things out of laziness and lack of imagination. I read an interesting book recently, “The Devil’s Best Trick.” It’s about the history evil as personified in the idea of the devil. You might find it interesting.
