A beautiful story. I have had similar experiences, including seeing an “alien” when I was 7 and hearing voices. This all stopped after I rejected both and refused to listen. Unlike you, I feel that I have been helped by outside forces. I got everything I prayed for as long as it was for something spiritual rather than material. I feel that my life has been blessed although it has been difficult (abuse, bullying, but not to the extent that you have experienced). Like you, I seem to have strong intuitive powers that are sometimes psychic. My astrological profile is eerily accurate and I can guess people’s planetary placements on occasion. This has led me to study a number of occult topics such as UFOs. I was surprised to learn that very serious scientists such as Jacques Vallee affirm such studies and examine them in a rigorous way. I believe that one day, spirituality and science will join into a rational examination of reality.
